Went in to ILM SF yesterday for Visual Effects Society voting. Another year of impossible choices, the pixels are looking better than ever. Awesome to see everyone's faces in person.

Nosferatu is my personal movie of the year. I've watched it a few times now, and it's everything you'd expect and more from Eggers. Dark, beautiful cinematography, fantastic performances by all, and some high end moustaches. I love Herzog's but I think this is the best telling of the story to date.

Feels like it's a good week for some RATM. Always relevant.
