It's a little stupid, but when I fought Shiva for the first time- the phase transition and music shift to Oblivion *floored me,* and after the fight when I listened to the song again, and I realized that the lyrics were telling Ysayle's backstory? I literally sobbed.

Jay is, canonically, stronger than any mortal limits; he's not human(*) and he's not even from Etheirys. Historically (Pre-Endwalker), his strength has been limited by him not remembering his true origin, and being unaware of his true strength. However, post-Endsinger, he's not-
I write him to basically have “super soldier” level physical strength and agility. He’s definitely stronger than the majority, but far from unbeatable. He’s had his fair share of lost battles/near death experiences and the scars to prove so.
