Yeah, I saw that on Snopes and appreciate the work they do.
I screen grabbed this photo from the day of, I it didn’t look like there was any damage to the shape of the ear… just an area that was darker on the helix and most of the blood appearing in the upper, inner pocket (the concha and fossa).
