Two nights of 3:45am alarms, blazing full moon lighting the sky like daytime and washing out the light of everything else, comet included. Then two days of post-processing battles, as comet processing is maddeningly tricky.

No disrespect intended, but many of us have been eating that drum LONG before now. We saw the slow erosion of democracy 20 years ago but were told we were exaggerating. Now we are exactly where we said we would be. Calling it out now is a bit too late.
The concentration of wealth in the hands of a few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy.
When the wealthy and well-connected control our political system, regular people don't have a voice.
The result? The demagoguery and corruption we're seeing now.

Before I die, I would love to see earnest and faithful adaptations of Octavia Butlers series Lilliths Brood and/or her PatternMaster series(starting with Wildseed).
These are exceptional stories, so much better than Kindred. I still don't understand why that book is more popular. Smh...
