Rest in Power. I never knew Assata Shakur personally, only through stories, but I looked forward to meeting her in that brief window of time Americans had access to Cuba. I know the ‘rents and dad’s siblings must be particularly affected.

I’m reposting my in-memoriam for my bud here as X is a lost cause. The lil’ guy in my pfp was my best fuzzy friend of 10y. Saw me through many health crisis including covid and a BMT, but lost his own health struggle last spring. I have 2 gremlins keeping me company now, but Max remains in my heart.

I’m on S4 of “Merlin” and I gotta give mad props to whoever decided the twisted, dark side version of Merlin and doc Gaius needed to be played by an actor who had prior roles as both Merlin and a Dr. Gaius.

Walked in and didn’t see Mr. The Bodega Cat right away. But I definitely felt someone clocking me, usually not the best feeling in Harlem but I realized it was Prince and he was following me. Just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke, I intentionally walked off. Seems I’ve got me a little white shadow!
