3. I have reached the age where I am starting to genuinely appreciate Natalie Merchant and the Eagles. Dont get me wrong, I'm still listening to new music from every genre the internet throws at me, too.

I saw Haim with my niece a while ago. They’re not bad, though I didn’t think the skills were up to this level of musicianship. Nonetheless, my niece confirms that it’s Danielle on drums for Billy.

There’s no good time for exams from students’ perspectives. But it’s a whole lot better to get them over with before a break than wait for after, if you have half a brain to think about it.

Yes, you have to take the phone out to do this, but the 2.0 update coming next year will solve that.

That, and Norene Gilletz’ “The Pleasures of Your Processor” are the two cookbooks that are odds-on favorites to find in any given Canadian kitchen. The Gilletz book has the best recipe for Montreal-style coleslaw out there (also available on her website, I believe).

Yes, but it’s very sophisticated: You can turn it over, stick little googly eyes on it, and use it as a puppet. No other phone carrying system offers this virtual companion technology.
