To add onto your point, if fascism does take root in those places, you will be much more vulnerable there as an immigrant than here as a citizen

This care funding ban follows the map the G-O-P charted while attacking abortion. Democrats lost that fight by giving in to the G-O-P an inch at a time. Giving an inch at a time on trans care will devastate trans Americans and it'll get Democrats nothing in return but contempt.

His polling is tanking my friend. 51% OF REPUBLICANS now think the country is going in the wrong direction up from 30% in June.
I know it’s easy to get discouraged but we have real momentum. The Kimmel cancellation woke a lot of ppl up. Cracks are widening. Keep up the pressure. And keep the faith!

Right. As someone who can't leave, what should I do with this daily doom and gloom? Guess I'll sit here anxiously without action to direct that anxiety onto. I think everyone is looking for solutions that no one has right now. We can only guess at the future for us :(

Do you know of a good alternative? I'm not a journalist myself, but I can imagine it's hard enough gaining readers without having the additional struggle of using an unknown platform. I hate substack and most popular social media sites, but we need good alternatives to turn to
