WHO said “FACT: COVID-19 is not airborne” which was 100% wrong and led to confusion and countless deaths.

CDC advised against wearing masks in Feb 2020.

We could have defeated it or kept it in check better all these years, but I’m not sure it would ever be “easy,” Covid is pretty contagious, airborne, and spreads before symptoms come on. Avoiding it is actually pretty hard. But mass deployment of N95s or KN95/KF94 + air filters would have done a lot

Well fitting masks work very well, but my friend and his wife got Covid at a doctor’s appointment and it caused long term health problems for my friend. If people in the waiting room and clinic masked and used air filters, this wouldn’t happen. I think it’s wrong to get sick seeking medical care.
