I do my own laundry because I am an adult. I do every step: I wash it, I dry it, and I leave it in the dryer until I wear it.
This might just be because I hate myself too much to ever marry and burden another person with myself, but if I did not do my own laundry I would hate myself even more.

Have you read about the medical case of the fellow who attempted to microdose psilocybin mushrooms through intravenous injection? It does turn out that you should not do that.
