From a guy who used to work there: Rachel is a remarkable person and the best TV news talent there is. If she says something is fucked up, it is. Getting rid of Joy, who dared to see through this fascism bullshit years ago and had the gall of occasionally being funny about it, is dumb.
Maddow: I think it is a bad mistake to let Joy Reid walk out the door. It is also unnerving to see that on a network where we've got two nonwhite hosts in primetime, both of our nonwhite hosts in primetime are losing their shows, as is Katie Phang on the weekend. I do not defend it.

For those dealing with student loans, what are the pros and cons of consolidation and or refinancing at this point? I'm trying to help a family member with a large student debt who's about to graduate with her masters, and with debt forgiveness now a pipe dream we are considering other options. TIA!
