A few years ago, I photographed these vibrant, algae-covered rocks at Otter Crest Beach on the Oregon Coast. The spot only appears at low tide and is crazy slippery. On my last visit, the rocks were buried under sand, so I’m glad I captured this scene when I had the chance.

Each year, these charming little Forget-Me-Nots establish themselves along the edges of the lake, infusing the area with a lovely shade of blue. I suspect they are Water Forget-Me-Nots, scientifically known as Myosotis scorpioides, though I'm open to correction as I'm not an expert.
