Time and time again it becomes clear that my “super power” is making complex technical topic understandable to laymen by using analogies.

I find automotive related analogies work really well with most people of most ages.

Mostly.

Waited almost a year for the “next Black Friday” sale on an item that I wanted to buy another one of.

Is it on sale again this year for me?

Sold-out/discontinued.

@camo.com I’m shocked that you guys have not yet added support for images in webp or svg format yet.

Can use svg images in OBS.

I submitted this as feedback to you guys like a year or two ago.

#cloudflare Sharing one of my personal favourite optimizations. (Looooong TTL for rarely changed asset filetypes.) Got a Cloudflare tip to share? Let's hear it.

Today I saw/heard a Blue Jay IRL for the first time in my life. I didn’t even know they lived in the Vancouver area.

Sometimes I want to take this Halloween costume I made (from scratch btw) and just stand out on the sidewalk next to the road where all the constant speeders go by and just point at them as they tear past me. With my luck though they’d panic and mow me down or something. 😅

If it has an ethernet port or a wifi antenna and is made by a Chinese company that is required to adhere to Chinese government laws… I do not trust the device. Guy disabled his vacuum’s spying and unapproved data sharing and the manufacturer remotely bricked his vacuum.

In the US, you have ICE agents. In Canada, we have NICE agents.
This agent was part of the ‘This Hour Has 22 Minutes’ Canadian television show. He was interviewing Americans and letting them pose for a Canadian passport ID. People were getting a kick out of it and having fun. Good on you Canada! 🇨🇦❤️

Drew Struzan died. 😔
This was the guy whose art inspired me as a kid to learn how to draw and paint.
You might not know his name but you’ve definitely seen his art on the most iconic movie posters ever.
