Yuuup. Doug is not making this up. Right now, Mexicans who applied for visas in the F3 category (married adult children of U.S. citizens) in August 2000 — during the Clinton administration — have just become eligible to obtain the immigrant visa they were approved for over two decades earlier.

Some of the people coming with visas now, applied for those visas when Clinton or George W were president. That's not a legal immigration system matched to the 21st century USA.
