unFun Fact 4: It’s not easy being poor. It’s costly. You’re scrutinized. The idea that people “want” to be poor in a society built on money with virtually no safety-net is a made-up fatasy.

unFun Fact 3: The average SNAP benefit (for qualified recipients) in FY 2024 was $187.20/mo.

Not exactly a lot to feed the poorest of our neighbors.

unFun Fact 2: It’s difficult to meet work requirements—even when working—because the types of jobs available in the low-wage labor market can’t meet SNAP’s harsh requirements.

Fun Fact: SNAP benefits act as a stabilizer during recessions, by providing an automatic stimulus to the economy.

Recognizing that it could be YOU—really that humans are fundamentally of equal dignity—is how we do better for each other, collectively.

So yes, all people deserve to be housed, have healthcare, & living wages.

I LIVED & studied in France. Still not fluent. I used to call myself “semi-fluent” but like…that’s still not fluent-fluent.

15 mins?!

More like YEARS + immersion + actually enjoying it.

(I need to get my French back. 😭)

Since this seems to have been missed my most:

The Hypertention Alerts (or what people are referring to as blood pressure monitoring) are NOT exclusive to Apple Watch Series 11.

They, along with the sleep score, will be on Series 9 and Series 10 as well as Apple Watch Ultra 3 and 2. #Apple

Absolutely. In fact, I like the design of the 10/11 better than the 9 and earlier.

But the neural engine (which was introduced with the 9) is a welcome improvement.

Definitely worth it from an S7! 😊

In the end, my responses inevitably take the shape of one who has experienced prolonged coercive control. It’s not pleasant or pretty.

I wouldn’t wish this suffering on anyone.
And, despite what it looks like,
I’m terrified of him.
Of them.
Of everyone.

Constant fear.
It shouldn’t be this way.

And for anyone who cares: I say very little about the details in good faith: both because the impacts on me make it difficult to put together a public-friendly narrative & because I actually genuinely don’t want to cause h-rm (which, realistically, would impact me more). It’s NOT a revenge fantasy.
July 30, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Regardless: I don’t want more suffering. This isn’t “revenge.” I want restoration. I want my life.

The status quo destroys me—as it does to others like me. It protects public figures and, in the process, allows this to happen over and over.

I’m sorry my personhood is an inconvenience.
July 30, 2025 at 8:25 PM
One should not be able to systematically destroy someone’s life while claiming they “tried” when the “trying” was a painful campaign of dehumanization. Of control over meaning, truth, reality, language, and time.

Was I not human? Just an object? Where was my right to make informed choices?
July 30, 2025 at 8:25 PM
This silence isn’t “self-protective” or neutral. Responsibility (ethically) doesn’t evaporate because one has the privilege to ignore others and let the system wreak havoc and drown them out.
July 30, 2025 at 8:25 PM
The lack of understanding is a choice. Selective amnesia doesn’t erase the written record or the response to it: denial, avoidance, etc. it doesn’t erase the severe impacts.

Turning away from the facts doesn’t make them not exist—that goes for those who have enabled this via a culture of silence.
