It’s a good pen, durable and reliable. The color looks nice, too!

Guess is just the tanned face… he’s senile, not tired.

Funny that they attack the LGBTTI community for being anti nature but then they “practice celibacy” or end doing things like this…

Seems like he also loves lasagna…

That could be. I have three preppy (two of the New Maki-e line) and they work great. You can’t ask much from such a basic model (the converter is more expensive than the pen), but those are indeed great beginner models, even if the Pilot Kakuno are a little better.

I guess it’s a problem with your pen or ink…

Nice art! And very good looking pen also…

That was interesting, but he just answered some of the people criticisms, and not others, like the use of IA and that their pens are really made in China, not just the components…

I sincerely thought that this was an @theonion.com article…

You can get somewhat flex nibs from Conklin/Monteverde. There are some Indian manufacturers that do nice flex nibs, like Fountain Pen Revolution, Ranga and Kanwrite, at good prices.

There are many other manufacturers, both German and from other places that do great pens: Kaweko and Diplomat from Germany; Pilot, Platinum, Sailor from Japan…

I haven’t had any issues with them…

Ugh. Hope you find soon a good job.

Yeah, that’s why I prefer Platinum and Pilot steel nibs over Sailor.

Curiously, Platinum #3776 model also has feedback so it was a bummer for me.
November 13, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Perhaps, but it’s more a matter of taste. Sailor’s steel and 14k gold nibs have a lot of feedback for my liking, but many people like that. I prefer to use more smooth nibs (even if their 21k nibs are superb).

Also, I like their designs.

I just filled mine… but I’m not dignifying your post with an answer, except for this is J. Herbin Cafe de Iles.🤢

I’m almost sure yours is the P141. In Amazon, they sell it as the P140, but that model is in thin opaque resin, not acrylic, and had a plastic piston, not a brass one.
November 9, 2025 at 4:58 PM
The Majohn P141. The best pen from that brand, perhaps on the top three pen made from China.
