It does. Every non-manager employee at my primary job works at least two jobs. UBI would let us all work one job (or at least fewer jobs), instead.

There's the thing where Bundy's constant playing to the press confuses the general public, often turning him into some kind of lovable rogue or folk hero, similar to the way Trump plays the press.

Another thing that sticks out to me is Bundy's charm offensive. Even the goddamn judge who sentenced him to death seems to like him. Trump manages that somehow, too, despite being an utterly repellant human being.

Another thing - they keep trying to test Bundy's competence to stand trial & he keeps fighting to be considered competent because he pathologically cannot abide the idea of being considered incompetent or mentally unwell. Like Trump's insistence on his own mental well-being. Very stable genius shit.

It's like how Bundy keeps wanting to take over his own defense because he's so convinced he's the best & brightest, so convinced he's the smartest person ever, certain he's an expert in everything. Just like trump.

Another similarity between Bundy & Trump is the way Bundy loves his defense teams when he feels like he's doing well in his defense & immediately throws them under the bus when he feels like it's going badly. Reminds me of Trump with his cabinet & advisors.

But the similarities ARE there and it's a little bit upsetting.

Rule's basically just describing a narcissistic sociopath in Bundy without really having the terminology for it, & those are the similarities I'm picking up on with Trump, I think.
