Rose was my first thought - I knew she was fast, but didn't know how great she would be with assists and defensively this year. I feel like Monday and Carle don't have their amazing years without Rose absorbing pressure and distributing so well. The whole team looked more confident with her in!

I love hearing the mixed zone reports from you guys. I was hoping for some discussion of turnovers in this game. NC's goal started from a strange Abiodun turnover and Croix seemed to have more than usual. Do the stats bear that out, or am I being harsh?

Am I naive to wonder what this means for Rodman's market value? They could sign Rodman without paying a transfer amount since she's out of contract at the end of the season, correct? Yet they pay nearly a million to chase Thompson. Does this hint teams are not trusting Rodman's post- injury future?

So happy she scored in her first home start. She has such a heavy shot - during warm ups she let one fly and there was an audible gasp from the early crowd watching. Glad she let one loose in the game

On the pod, I'd love to know if there was anymore explanation given. My interpretation was that it was ruled a dead ball aggressive action at Carle. Did it being post-whistle elevate it to a red? Play resumed on a throw in and not a free kick, so I'm assuming it was not a foul "in play"

It's strange to flex on how poorly you managed the entry to this event. Participants got tickets - you knew how many people were coming, yet you made a thousand people wait outside in a single line? My girls couldn't stand the wait and we never made it in. By far my worst memory of a Spirit event

Thanks for asking these questions to the club. I'm a huge Spirit fan, but have to wonder: Is keeping Rodman a good idea? It would be a huge amount of money (::whispers:: for someone who may not play many minutes)

Why not invest in hyping Croix and making sure their other talent stays?

Great episode! Loved the DC shout-out and the discussion of fan safety. Our family rejected season tickets to our beloved Spirit because of summer games at 1pm! Aug 3rd at 12:30?! When Audi Field doesn't allow outside water?! No way that's sustainable for fans.

How can they be so sure of this, but we were denied a Chloe Ricketts first goal on review? Madness...

Mine is Darklands, some random open world RPG I played on my Gateway 2000 in the 90s. I've never seen anyone talk about it, but I still think it's awesome.

I think she absolutely loves where she is right now and especially the leadership of Michelle Kang. However, with mysterious salary cap rules and last minute changes to NWSL signing rules every season, I don't know if Trinity can even be offered what she's worth by Kang.
