My dog regularly wears booties for some paw problems and it is physically impossible for children under 15 to not exclaim "Mum that dog's wearing SHOES!" whenever they see him.

Makes my day.

Greyhounds and Labradoodle crosses are built a little differently for the cold.

Well the world is going to shit but Mercury is still happy to get up and chase the pigeons and the jacarandas are looking beautiful so there's that at least.

He was even nice to the local cat so some things can even change.
