This also allows me to hop between my PC desktop, and MacBook for recording, since everything backs up to the same NAS folders.

For videos, I’ll download whatever clips I need to work on, then upload the completed edits.

Basically the SSD is just a cache for whatever I’m actively doing.

Whe I got my MacBook Air, I decided to do the hard thing, and forgo ever storing anything on it to get around this in the future. Everything with small files is reflected to my NAS using syncthing (Protools projects), everything with large files is stored directly on the NAS (video imports/projects)

Although the Blackwing + Alltrack combination achieves basically the same effect as an M3/5 Touring :P
