Guitar players out there: have you ever had fret work done on one of your guitars? What were the results like?
I’ve had my Ibanez for long enough that I’m starting to get noticeable grooves on my lower frets, and texture from string windings on pretty much all of them.

We did lunch in St Louis! Everything was great, but the pork ribs were exceptional :3

Just got to our hotel for the night. We wound up doing a scenic drive in southern Ohio (which was a super fun road), which meant we didn’t get all the way to St Louis today. We are in Illinois though!

First leg is Nashua, NH -> Wilmington, DE, with a stop for the afternoon in Boston, MA.
Tonight I’ll meet up with my mom, and we will set off westward in the morning!

This weekend I did my Oktoberfest BBQ/Party. We had homebrewed beer, Bavarian Pork Knuckle, smoked brisket, and tons of sides.
The food came out soooooooo good!

I’m racing at Winchester Speed Park’s Supercross track. I rode here earlier this year, and had a great time. I’m a bit nervous to be on the gate, but it’s gonna be fun!

Here’s one of my laps from the track yesterday! I didn’t run a timer, so idk what my best lap was, but this one seems pretty good.
It was a challenge hitting consistent braking points, and cornering lines in the dark. I definitely learned a lot, and got a lot more comfortable with the car though!

Today we just do a group dinner. A few of us went for gelato afterwards, which was great.
After that I skated to Bar Volo, which is a nice vibey spot I like going to when I’m around. They have an interesting beer list, and usually 3-5 cask beers to choose from.

Putting in work at MX23 today! A few weeks ago I got a canopy cover thing that attaches to a roof rack. The trackside setup is sooooo much better with some shade XP

Had a picture perfect day out riding today! I’m really starting to get used to the new bike, and it’s super satisfying to recover my track skills that have atrophied over the last 5 or so years :3
