For some time I've thought about some similarities between cigarrets and social media (which is probably not a new idea).

For some time I've thought about some similarities between cigarrets and social media (which is probably not a new idea).

I just saw a man on the train pack a big tupper-box full of about one litre of carrot or pumpkin soup into his backpack.
I want to make clear that as a Crisis & Security Management professional I can not condone such excessive risk-taking.

The #HongKong high-rise #fire gives me really bad flash-backs to when we analysed the #GrenfellTower disaster during my masters. The inquiry report was really enlightening regarding causes but also very depressing.

Seeing how the amount of (deadly) car #accidents goes up a lot as soon as the #weather turns slightly adverse really makes me appreciate my decision to not have a #car and rely on public transport even more.

Seeing how the amount of (deadly) car #accidents goes up a lot as soon as the #weather turns slightly adverse really makes me appreciate my decision to not have a #car and rely on public transport even more.

The supreme irony is that in cities like Paris where cycling is back and bike & bus lanes are more common the response time of emergency vehicle is getting quicker and is now under seven minute for the first time in 20 years.
