I legit managed to to find myself dancing in my kitchen to a song that came up on shuffle, so I guess surgery recovery is going well.

With the painkillers they gave me at the hospital and an edible I think I might be able to sleep on my side by even tomorrow. Steri strips look to be hiding some real gruesome sights.

I managed to make it through the day without needing painkillers, so I think I'm going to reward myself with a few pills before bed. Feels like I got gut punched repeatedly. Warning: picture is my belly button after hernia repair surgery
