Trump hated TikTok (because China) until it helped him win an election (as even he acknowledges) and now he’s going to save it and take a victory lap. So he’ll have X, TikTok, Insta, and Facebook all working on his behalf. That’s a big difference between now and 2017.

I’ve been on social media since 2004. It’s never been worse than it is in 2025. Twitter soured in 2016. Facebook zombified soon thereafter. Now Meta has opened the floodgates of hate & abuse across all their products, IG & Threads will soon enshittify. Is Bluesky the last good social platform? idk
