So glad to support this team. Founders deserve to know that pivots are tough but far more common than they realize.
A founding team we backed is pivoting.

Pivoting is not easy (even with your investors support). In fact, it's grueling.

The founders told me that @jasonshen.bsky.social's book "Path to Pivot" has been their bible thru this process.

Jason's honesty is real talk. Well written + great resource!

Saw Wicked in theaters. Loved it.

Knew some of the songs but never saw the musical.

Final scene was tremendous. Haven't cried like that in years.

Film has done numbers already and I'm not surprised. It's going to crush.

My conclusion from the Jake Paul / Mike Tyson fight is that it’s easier to look strong & athletic at 58 than to be actually explosive & quick.

And that it’s sad that with all boxing promotions you have to wonder whether the whole thing is staged.

🍎 ‘s Vision Pro is a big step forward for tech - the higher end model let’s them work out the bugs with a wealthy early adopter cohort before entering the mass market.

When you’re going through a period of transition, sometimes the best plan is no plan at all.

Don’t do it for the glory. Because glory is not forever. Glory fades and losses hurt more.

Do it because you believe in it. That it’s the right thing. That it matters even when no one knows.

Hosted my first in-person interintellect salon yesterday in NYC!

Small group but great convos:

- transitions
- making the leap into the unknown
- the dread of waiting for something to happen
- knowing you have the resourcefulness to figure things out

Just had breakfast with a former client. Really nice to see how her life has grown and transformed. She’s a coach which means we can really talk shop.

Let it be known that resilience is not an immutable endowment, but rather an skillful art that may be cultivated and refined through assiduous practice and unwavering resolve.

Love reading decisions like this.

I remember the fight we had at my first startup, a ridesharing company, to avoid using the verb “book” a ride because it felt too transactional.

We went with “arrange a ride” which was awk but reflected our intended values.
ah the link doesn’t work on mobile.

skoots “might sound a bit dirty”

because it sounded like skeets.

I doubt that personalized AI music will be a huge market because people want to hear, dance, and sing /play along to music with other people.

This doesn’t work if everyone hears something different.
