Could be a map view, basically cloud cover over Ireland up across Scotland with a little gap over the sea south of Cork. Not great aurora watching weather.

I was lucky with this light leak, it could’ve been much worse when my camera strap broke and the camera fell tapping the ground but thanks to a quick reaction, not a full force crash. The Rollei both photos were made with.

The portable hive loaded onto the back seat of the car to be taken to their new home. Great fun going through every worst case scenario before we set off on the 10 kilometer drive in tbe dark with a box full of bees.

The portable beehive left over night to give the bees a chance to settle and those out and about a chance to return home. A small collection of honey combs and honey for the taste test. The taste test. Best honey I’ve tasted. The last bee home. Of course throughout out photographing this I had the pleasure of receiving three stings. Deservedly so. A little momemto. Nice to discover I’m not allergic. A few days later and the sting areas are still a little tender. Respect little bees. Respect.

The Bee Collectors arrive suited up. I was about to leave the house to meet friends when these two turned up. So I went out to ask where the swarm / hive was and would they mind if I photographed them. The hive is in an old compost bin in my neighbour’s back garden. Which he discovered when he went to move it. Under the hood. The honey combs were made hanging down from the lid of the compost bin. The first honey comb lifted out covered in bees. This is where the Quuen Bee was hanging out.

I’ve the C21… going good for the past year. Got the rack & extender battery with it.

Bike arrived pretty quick , other 2 parts took a bit longer even though all ordered together

Plenty of spares available too.
