@marypeltola.bsky.social fought and won in areas that our research has shown have bipartisan popularity across Alaska — from fisheries protections to blocking supermarket consolidation. Meanwhile, Dunleavy’s recent vetoes were overwhelmingly unpopular. Alaskans are looking for a better way.

NEW ALASKA POLL:

Mary Peltola would be the leading candidate in the 2026 race for governor.

Against seven potential candidates, she leads in the first round with 40% of the vote.

In a ranked-choice voting simulation, she crosses 50% with three other candidates remaining.

The starkest result of our new Alaska poll to me is how Gov. Dunleavy has lost the trust of Alaska's parents. Parents of minors view Dunleavy unfavorably by a −21-point margin, even as they see Trump favorably (+13)
