As we approach pride month, and i brace myself for the endless screams of, why don't we have a straight month, I would like to ask those folks to watch a movie like Love, Simon. Bonus points if you watch it with a gay person. Everyone goes through shit growing up but just watch their reaction.

If everybody doesn't have due process, then nobody has due process.

If certain groups are excluded, then all they have to do is accuse you of being in that group and you have no recourse without due process!

Ok, fellow gays, share the traumas you've faced in your lives, big and small. I know they happen daily, so whatever is top of mind. Let's remind ourselves what we've overcome. I cried the other night over a reel dedicated to the boy being called fag before he even knows what it means. That hit home.

I'll elaborate a little on my last post. I do not mean to equate this with the suffering that gays have endured. Compared to many, this is absolutely nothing. But growing up they had a line of books called Truly Tasteless Jokes. They had a section on gays. My brothers loved them.

What gives me the strength to not check out? Blasting Lady Gaga's Mayhem loud enough to rattle the windows. I'll save you my exposition, but I honestly feel like this is why we'll win. We've come too far and been through worse. 🏳️‍🌈

Hi all, We’re still here at OPM.

We have a situation where we MIGHT, and I do mean, MIGHT have four of Elon’s people blocked from the building.

Can we get press or a member of Congress down here? We’ve blocked them for two hours and they keep coming back and trying to go in.

Does anyone have advice on how to start a support group? I live in a very conservative area, so I'm hesitant to just post on next door or something.

Where is democratic leadership? Someone should be giving us daily fireside chats: this is what happened today, this is what you should focus on, this is what you should ignore, and here's what we need to do. Whoever can provide clear and calming leadership through this will be the next president.

It's hard to even find escape in TV. I'm watching Worst Cooks, and it makes me happy how out the LGBTQ+ contestants are. When I was growing up, that was never allowed. But then I remember that may all go away or worse. How did we end up here?

Every day, I cry, scream, rage, sit in disbelief that this is America, and want to break something. I want to turn everything off, but I don't. It's only day 7. Democratic leadership has abandoned us. But I won't lose hope or faith that most people are good. Stay strong. They want us to give up.

I feel like covid was the practice exam. We failed and fired the teacher. I fear the real exam is coming and not only have we not studied, we brought the teacher back with worse assistants.

If Harris wanted to run for president in 2028, on Nov 6th, she should have said, "The resistance begins now," and spent every day since then leading it. You can't say what a threat he is and then be like, oh well, and pretend everything is normal. We need a Mon Mothma, not a Valorum.
