Juliet (spoilers) dies at the end of each performance, and yet we go back again and again to see what Theda Bara, Olivia Hussey, or Clair Danes do with new tellings. This is a ridiculous concern.
Soap operas had it right: announce "the part of Mackenzie is now played by Rachel Kimsey" and move on.
