Senior Digital Marketing Manager.
Science fiction and video game nerd.
Father to young Padawan.
If schools are meant to prepare students for work, they need to go all in on AI. It’s not an optional extra. The next decade belongs to those who know how to use it wisely. Without AI literacy, we’re sending kids into a Formula One race on a bicycle.

A Senior Digital Marketing Manager ad wanted both a degree and 7+ years’ experience. But after seven years in the field, isn’t that degree just a dusty box-tick? Digital skills come from doing, not old lectures. Shouldn’t proven, current experience count for more than a decade-old diploma?

Let’s applaud the masterclass that is new movie Weapons.

A premise that begs attention.

A trailer that gives very little away.

An enigmatic poster.

And a title that adds further to the mystery.

This is how you do marketing.

Oh, stop it! There won't be any nuclear attacks. Dictators thrive on power and that all ends when they use nukes. This is just the war industry hyping things up to get funds. Russia is not a superpower.

Interrupting customers at the wrong time is like eating at Nandos. You’ve just taken a huge bite when staff ask if you need anything. Now think about lead scoring. Are you reaching out mid-bite in their research journey? The best timing isn’t when you want to engage. It’s when they’re ready to talk.

Captain America: Brave New World is ultimately a movie about a team player missing their team. It underscores that true leadership isn’t about going it alone.

What can Kindle teach us about AI? Tech disruption is often slow but unstoppable. Despite e-books' rise since 2007, print endures. Like publishing, AI’s impact will unfold in waves, not overnight. Change takes time but it's inevitable. What’s your pick: print or digital? #AI #Kindle

If you could prompt AI now to create a full sequel to watch, what movie would you pick? I still can't get the cliffhanger from 1998's Deep Rising out of my head.

AI is our Kobayashi Maru—a no-win scenario testing how we navigate change. Some see innovation, others fear disruption. But resisting isn’t an option. The real challenge isn’t AI itself, but how we shape its impact. Do we accept the rules, or redefine them? #AI #StarTrek

If you were living in a simulation, would you want to know? If we can create sentient AI, how can we ever be sure we're not as well? Like a belief in a god, it can't be proven or disproven.
