Finally saw the movie Weapons...and I'm disappointed. It's a fine movie but didn't deserve the hype. Not a great horror movie like IT, Alien, or The Thing. Many other horror movies I'd rate above this as well.

Within ten years (probably a lot less), it's going to be possible to input any work of fiction into AI (including entire novels) and it will output movies and series that are as good as anything we watch today.

I remember when the clocks changing was a right faff as you had to go round the house changing the time in many places. Now, it's just the oven and one wall clock that's holding out.

Why do they keep releasing Tron movies? None have been passable at best and the audience just isn't there to make them a success. One of the most wasted opportunities for a trilogy ever.

Realistically, we're about five years away from being able to feed a novel into AI and it being able to export either a decent movie or TV show worthy of streaming.

If schools are meant to prepare students for work, they need to go all in on AI. It’s not an optional extra. The next decade belongs to those who know how to use it wisely. Without AI literacy, we’re sending kids into a Formula One race on a bicycle.
