I view most religions as revelation from God to a person or small group in the form and context that they will comprehend and which they then develop into their shared set of spiritual traditions and practices. I cannot tell God that I won't allow him to speak to anyone but me and my prophet.

You have no moral authority to shame people who don’t care that a CEO - who was indirectly responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands - was murdered, while barely mumbling thoughts & prayers when guns are the leading cause of death among children and you prevent any effort to solve that crime.

I totally get how someone self-identifying as something that doesn't match their outer appearance can be confusing. Some of y’all been identifying as Christians all this time and it's got the rest of us stumped.

To be honest, I couldn't give a damn about some rich ceo's murder. I'm more concerned about the 2 kindergartens shot in a school shooting this week in California while their classmates huddled in the gym in fear. It's barely a news story.

It's amazing how many Americans are totally devoid of compassion, and think if a human being can't work they deserve to starve. Then they'll go to a Christmas Eve service at church to celebrate the birth of a poor man who told them to feed the poor.

Interesting news this morning about the suspect in the UHC CEO shooting on Wednesday: The backpack believed to belong to the person was found full of Monopoly money, and the search expanded to include women after photo/video analysis suggests stereotypical female traits.

Perhaps the single most important lesson society can learn from the intentional unaliving of a health insurance CEO is that we should live our lives in such a way that when we die millions of people don’t cheer for the cause of death.
