Somehow, they got mixed up with the regular post, and it wasn't obvious what they were. I almost opened them in error, but realised in time and gave them to the boss, who breathed a sigh of relief and put them in the safe to be opened on budget day.
Two days later they were leaked to the press.

That's all well and good, but your spreadsheet is in Euros. I live in the UK, which is outside the Eurozone, so I still need the pen and paper to make a note of today's exchange rate before I do the calculation.
