Whisky and erm, Defenders. What could possibly go wrong?
Taking myself off Insta and the cesspool that was Twitter improved my mental wellbeing no end - made me realise how much wasted time I was expending watching or reading pish. The way they’re used by some is a modern day blight on society IMO. Whisky and a bit of friendship, all that interests me.

I’m the same Scotty. I’ve had my fill of it tbh. I don’t come on here much. It lets me keep a link to the broader whisky community but that’s it. If it gets into politics or the nasty side of “social” media i either stop following or mute stuff. I’m with Mick tho, be a shame to see you go mate.

Got mine delivered yesterday, I agree it’s a great spirit for a Port maturation / finish 😊

Strangely that’s one I’m not as big a fan of for some reason 🤷🏻‍♂️

What would you Celebrate with for a major work victory? 🤣

Which one are you thinking of doing Mick?

Macallan and Springers are usually always gone before the release - it’s like the wee angels come down and whisk(y) them away before us mere mortals get a sniff…….. 👼 🥃

Cheeky wee Cragganmore in there 👍🏻

Probably the fruitiest dram I’ve had - I’d definitely buy one of these although it’s not available - only as a sample when we were at the distillery unfortunately. 🙁

Very pleasant Mick, not had much before either, but it’s fruity on the nose, apples and pears, with a sweetness in the background.
Palette is good, cereals and toffee, slight spicyness. Finish is quite long, with an ongoing light spicyness.

Hope so Mark, I’ve been doing a number of side by sides recently, opening the 80’s and 90’s bottles my dad gave to me. Been a few eye openers!

I Will confess it wasn’t my favourite back then, but not much was 🤣
Age has given me a better perspective on whisky 🥃
