tonight is the Digital Drams Highland Park drams. Starting with the 15yo at 44% ABV 🥃

Round to one of the lad’s places last night for a few drams, a cigar and a catch up.
Not a bad wee selection…..

Next up is the Royal Lochnagar, cask sample from 2001. 54.8% ABV 🥃

Having a few of my miniatures tonight. Starting with a Cragganmore cask sample, 2001 at 54.6% 🥃

Picked up a couple of bottles of Glenmorangie 10 bottled in the 90’s to try……
Think I’ll do a side by side with the current bottling to see how it’s changed.

Club night at Robbie’s drams, The Glendronach - looks like it’ll be a good night with loads to sample! #Whisky 🥃

An eclectic set of drams at today’s tasting at the Belfry in Edinburgh. Clynelish / Brora - a journey through time. Some amazing drams (10 in total!) which gave a full spectrum of the evolution of this whisky, from 1972 onwards. A few that “weren’t my favourite” but very impressed overall 🥃

The Loch Lomond 150th open edition. I do have another couple of these stashed away tho 😊

Continuing the #Bottlekill theme, trying to clear out those bottles on my shelves that I’ve been nursing for too long….. this time it’s the Longmorn 18yo. This drama took me by surprise, how much I liked it. Was my favourite at the Whisky Fringe festival a few years back. 🥃

Going to miss this one - a hand fill fiddich from 2021, bottled at 57.8 %

I never find whisky related stuff either, but my friends seem to find it all the time! One of them picked this up for me recently…..

Had a trip to Glenturret recently, my first visit. Enjoyed the tour (ably hosted by Andrew), and the blending session afterwards.
Followed up with a delicious meal at the Lalique restaurant (two Michelin stars no less!) where the food, the service and the staff were superb. 👌

Couldn’t have asked for more or for a better experience Mick.
Full on tasting with generous pours, and then they gave all of us drivers dram packs, and discount on the distillery handfill…….

A fantastic tasting at Royal Lochnagar a while back.
Always enjoy drawing from the casks, and getting to try stuff that isn’t generally available to buy…..

A distillery not on my “favourites” list but friends got myself and the good lady her indoors a present to do the Mastery Experience at MacAllan. Impressive building, friendly people, and some nice drams. Mostly NAS but started with their 18yo and finished with the 25yo. Food was amazing 🤩
