One of the reasons we bought "the phoenix" comic for our youngest - he doesn't realise it yet but that was as rich in references and off ramps as it was appropriately silly - I'm still looking up some of the links myself!

(although I will confess on one occasion to recommend nuking the IAM solution from orbit - won't name the orgs involved but I still can't believe what they'd built and then vigorously defended)

Hopefully that helps build trust and we can guide some bigger steps and move people away from some of the worst practices and clear enough of the tech debt to help make those next steps a bit simpler

Where possible, discovery and visibility can make a difference - that and showing where there's some baby steps (often where the client has already paid for a solution but aren't using it - yes- looking at you, Entra) that will help start to make things better...
