So Trump says he doesn’t think he can get a deal if he’s too hard on Putin in public discourse. Hmmm….methinks this is too convenient a line. Guess he didn’t want a deal with Canada and Mexico.

So the media is claiming to be uncovering evidence of a lot of MAGA voters regretting their choice. I suppose this may be true. But none of my acquaintances have admit any regret.

Having served as a Moscow correspondent in the early days of Putin's reign, this reminds me of how the Kremlin took over its own press pool and made sure that only compliant journalists were given access.
