As a formerly homeless man, I think I’d be more concerned about a Fox News host saying homeless people should be killed if it weren’t also the opinion of the government.

The US either jails homeless folks or makes housing harder.

And if you’re not housing them, you’re sentencing them to death.

Authoritarians go wrong because they replace competent officials with toadies and yes men. The upshot is that a leader doesn't get sound advice and does stupid things, and eventually he and his country pay a price. For starters, no one will trust Trump's BLS figures from now on.

Over the first seven months of 2025, the economy has added 597,000 jobs.

Over the first seven months of 2024 — when Trump said the economy was terrible — the total was over 1 million jobs.

Q: 60 Minutes found 75% of the migrants who were sent to El Salvador do not have criminal records. That true?

BONDI: They're not Venezuelan migrants. They're illegal aliens from Venezuela who should not have been in our country

Q: So you're confirming they didn't commit a crime?

GOLDMAN hikes its odds of US recession to 35% — from a prior 20%.

The move reflects “the sharp recent deterioration in household and business confidence, and statements from White House officials indicating greater willingness to tolerate near-term economic weakness in pursuit of their policies.”

I apologize. We have a Russian asset in the White House. Trump stands with Putin. He doesn’t stand with Ukraine, NATO or the free world. Many, many, many of us Americans apologize profusely for this.
