It isn’t so much that having a boyfriend is embarrassing, it’s the expectation that a boyfriend gives us value as women. What’s truly embarrassing (or more so infuriating) is how so many of us women have abandoned ourselves so we’re not abandoned by men.

This week, I return to Jerry-the man I once wrote about in my former sex column at the NY Observer.

That was back when I thought love, money, and care were all one and the same.

And then… a stranger appeared on a park bench. Or was he an earth angel?

Sometimes you drive yourself to set.
And sometimes you just drive—declaring between sobs, I am happy, I am happy, I am happy!

This one’s from my first role in Hollywood: stilettos, celebrities, and an almost near-death experience.

The big beautiful bill is really the big wrecking bill of pain.

Paying hospitals not to treat people. Trashing the environment. Stealing billions from everyday Americans to give handouts to salivating billionaires.

The federal government is moving to take over the California National Guard and deploy 2,000 soldiers.

That move is purposefully inflammatory and will only escalate tensions.

Statement from Gavin Newsom:

“The federal government is taking over the California National Guard and deploying 2,000 soldiers in Los Angeles — not because there is a shortage of law enforcement, but because they want a spectacle.

Don't give them one.

Never use violence. Speak out peacefully.”
