Morgan is 16 now, and tries to pretend he isn’t by running around and jumping and stealing food from magpies and destroying toys. But I was told by a vet that it’s time to give him arthritis supplements and Metamucil, so I guess he is an old man

This is the second year my desert rose has flowered. I told a friend last year I was disappointed they were white and not pink or red, he told me that white is rarer and was jealous. But I have decided they are pretty (and gave my friend a cutting because he didn’t have white in his collection yet)

Poor Morgan hurt his dew claw, so we’ve wrapped it up. He doesn’t like it and is hopping around instead of walking. But still has a little blep when he sleeps

No seeds appeared, but it looks like the cutting has roots and is growing okay at my friend’s house 🙂

Made some toshikoshi soba for dinner tonight, it was delicious, and a nice break from chocolate, xmas cake and fruit 😅

I went for a swim today, and it was fantastic. I’ve managed to visit at least 4 different beaches this week.

I’m back from Korea, not sure if I miss the cold or am glad I escaped the cold. They had a lantern and light festival on in Seoul while I visited, it was quite pretty. Started Christmas with my husband’s family and have so far received chocolate and a doona!

So I went to the Busan Tower, and they’d set up this activity with QR codes solving puzzles and searching for answers to crack a code. If you were correct, you got a reward. And the reward was your choice from six cards featuring the resident cats. It was so hard to pick just one!

I am attempting to propagate my desert rose for a uni friend. As soon as he heard mine had white flowers, he was super keen to get any seeds. So I chopped a bit off for him in case no seeds happen

My mum loves crucifix orchids, and I saw this pretty one when I visited her last weekend. She mostly has orange ones, so its nice when her other colours bloom too

This is one of my parents’ dogs, Bindi. She was originally my grandad’s (he died in 2015) and she is 16. She’s doing so well for an old girl! (I love her floppy ears) She loves men with beards (so my grandad and dad haha)

So after a month, my back is doing pretty well considering I ruptured a disc. I’m back in the lab getting electrochem results (I hope I haven’t jinxed it now). Here’s a close up of my sister’s cat, Franklin.

I have to take a reaction off at 4.20pm, but I pinched something in my lower spine patting a dog. Totally worth it because Pippin was adorable, but wish I could go home & take some painkillers and find my wheat pack 😅
