To be clear: when I discovered Rep. David Scott had not voted in the past 6 elections, I was just as shocked as everybody else—but it only reaffirmed my decision to run. GA-13 deserves representation that shows up at the ballot box and in the community, and that's what I will do.

Your first thought when you're having a medical emergency should never be "can I afford this?" or "will this destory my credit?" but that is the reality for millions of Americans.

Out of state investors are buying up properties and driving up the cost to rent or own for everybody. This congressional district (GA-13) has the most single family homes in GA owned by these investors. We need policy to rein it in and protect the American Dream of homeownership.

Rep. David Scott’s record of not voting is unfortunately a part of a much larger trend of not showing up. Thankfully, voters have a clear choice this election.

SNAP benefits are set to disappear on November 1st due to lack of funding. Many SNAP recipients are working families, and now they’ll be left to go hungry.
