To be clear: when I discovered Rep. David Scott had not voted in the past 6 elections, I was just as shocked as everybody else—but it only reaffirmed my decision to run. GA-13 deserves representation that shows up at the ballot box and in the community, and that's what I will do.

Your first thought when you're having a medical emergency should never be "can I afford this?" or "will this destory my credit?" but that is the reality for millions of Americans.

Out of state investors are buying up properties and driving up the cost to rent or own for everybody. This congressional district (GA-13) has the most single family homes in GA owned by these investors. We need policy to rein it in and protect the American Dream of homeownership.

My opponent didn’t deny he didn’t cast a ballot in six straight elections—as per usual, he just refused to comment. If David Scott can’t even speak up for himself, you’ve got to ask yourself if he’ll speak up for you in congress. It’s clear that he won’t. It’s just as clear that I will.

Governors across the country are stepping up to keep SNAP open, while Governor Kemp is looking for excuses to not help. Georgians can’t afford political games when they’re struggling to put food on the table. It’s time to act.

With the shutdown continuing, with no end in sight, and families set to not receive SNAP benefits, I am partnering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to put food on tables with a fund drive.

SNAP benefits are set to disappear on November 1st due to lack of funding. Many SNAP recipients are working families, and now they’ll be left to go hungry.

This campaign is for the people, by the people. Unlike my opponent, whose campaign is almost wholly funded by corporations and special interests, I have not taken a penny from corporate PACs.

I’ll never be the kind of Congresswoman who doesn’t show up. I host regular town halls and events, give back to my community, and do a back-to-school supply giveaway to local families every year. Showing up isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am.

I first got involved in politics in 2017 while organizing Atlanta’s March for Science. At the time, it felt like our leaders weren’t representing us—and that science itself was under attack.

This is the unhinged behavior of someone who doesn’t plan to leave any time soon. The White House is OUR house. This is the equivalent of a renter destroying a home that doesn’t belong to them.
