For now my neovim C# adventures end with... installing dance for VS Code, let's see how long I'll stick with it :)

I did manage to get C# in neovim working, but I'm just feeling like the setup is too fragile for everyday work

After trying to "vibe code" C# neovim config I feel like Atom Eve creating a playground on the spot is the perfect metaphor.

Spoilers: She did create it, but the playground eventually collapsed

Gemini 3 still fails all my turing tests, but it's the first one that I find gives me real value as an assistant

I have to be honest after hearing folks rave about Super Mario Galaxy, I had very high expactations and I'm pretty dissapointed with it. It was probably superb game 18 years ago when it launched, but the switch port didn't age well in my opinion.
Is the sequel better?

My AI specific domain knowledge test (that is easily searchable and verifiable by anyone using google in like 2 minutes) is still failing with major hallucation by all AI, except Claude who told me to google it, which is not bad, but not helpful either.

Baffles me that people go to AI for info

I don't think I ever had harder time finishing an episode of a show I used to like than Invincible S03E08, it's just a big brawl that makes no sense, and people seem to love it

After recent news disabling Twitter account felt like the only reasonable thing to do

Every couple of weeks I just get this curiosity to write some Lisp (specifically Clojure)

Bought FTL and Short Hike on sales, honestly can't decide which one is better. Having lots of fun ☺️

What makes me sad that with all those VOD services in my country, there is no way to watch Babylon5 or Hero(2002)

One of the not so obvious benefits of #DiscGolf is getting better at ambidexterity. At first I was using off hand to let the main hand rest. I did a few training with just off hand as well. I noticed that I do many tasks now with an offhand subconsciously. Small thing, but feels nice 😊

Really enjoyed #Day7 of #AdventOfCode, my #CSharp solution (without forbidden Fold this time)
December 8, 2024 at 11:38 AM
My favorite part of advent of code is to go see all the clever stuff other people come up with after I finished my solution, always amazed what can be achieved

And #FSharp equivalent to go with it. There is probably a better version, as I'm using a forbidden Fold.

It's 1-1 the same approach and looks quite similar. F# a bit nicer to write and debug

#AdventOfCode #Day3 #Csharp #Functional (ish)

This year doing something a little bit different, trying to do solutions I can be proud of, in a language I actually know, critique welcome 😊

I find myself surprised over and over again that C# doesn't have tuple deconstruction in lambdas

27" monitor advice needed, is there a difference 4k vs 1440p for office work? I plan on using single monitor. I won't use it for gaming. Looking a bit at Dell U2724D now, but I honestly just want something good that will last me a long time

Nobody told me how great of a Trek The Orville is. So I'm doing my part - if you have a Trek craving, it's brilliant. And it's not comedy, more of an homage with comedic elements

Thread: as a new disc golf player, now that the weather is getting worse and worse it is a nice opportunity to summarize my first ever season of playing.

The goal was to get to 90m(300ft), I've done that once on a very lucky break. My consistent distance is 65m(210ft).

Got hit by a disc in head yesterday, which was mostly due to new layout on the course for the upcoming doubles tournament. I really wish they would prioritize safety first, instead of making interesting holes. Really soured my feeling toward the game, hopefully can get over that
