The problem is that if an author wants to sell audio rights and distribute that story on a podcast, they can't, because whoever took it and put it online has now used first audio rights.
If I wanted a great mag share my work, and now can't because a fan put it on their YT channel, that's a problem.

I was desperately struggling with Austen for a course on her books, and switched to audiobook. Having a reader who knew her way around the cadence and the had genuine love for Austen's work was amazing, it rewrote my brain.

Pointing out a typo is not what I call "honest, fair criticism," it is just that, pointing out a typo. If the author is not requesting feedback, then the feedback would not have been given fairly.
