The very best Reuben sandwich I ever had was at the Smallman Street Deli in Pittsburgh.

Earliest sci-fi I remember reading is The Green Futures of Tycho by William Sleator. I have extremely vague memories of a different book with time travel portals in a garage, built with a series of rings that vibrated in some way, but haven't had any luck googling it.

Kinda shocking to me that it only caused a double eyebrow raise when I accidentally kept reading the next post in my timeline as part of the same thread (profile pic also b&w, etc)

I got to this too late obviously, but having read the book types you like I felt like I should recommend The Bright Sword by Lev Grossman. Such a great cross between fantasy and history, really an incredible Arthurian epic.

This is just a portion of one wall, but we used IKEA bookshelves and built them in to turn what used to be a dining room into a library. Also pictured is my youngest being chased up the ladder by a kitten.

Crown Burgers was the closest to home for me, so I'm shocked by the amount of salad on that Apollo burger in the article.

My place has three muted TVs- one TV showing movies on FX, one showing HGTV, and one over my shoulder that is showing who knows what. I'm also napping when I'm not telling people my name and birthday over and over again.

My wife really liked the blackberry ginger ale so I'm curious if she'll like this too. Gotta be the same syrup they're adding, right?
