The funny part here is that by using IRS data to track immigrants, the Trump Administration is admitting that they do pay taxes. The reality is that the people this administration portrays as taking from Americans actually contributes more than they receive in terms of revenue and benefits.

There nothing logical about any ideology that on the one hand denies assistance to those in need while on the other going above and beyond to serve those willing to deny — implicitly or explicitly — said assistance.
Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.

I’ve heard Mad Libs more sensical than Trump sounds rattling off his “accomplishments” and his ever increasingly bizarre cadence just makes this feel all the more like some joke. If only.

The fact that the Department of Government Efficiency isn’t headed by someone with the title of “Secretary” says everything you need to know about its legitimacy. Although I think we’re all surprised Elon hasn’t demanded the title for what he’s paid.

He’s gotten everything else he’s wanted so far without trying so why bother?
He usually tries to at least open with broad vague lines that are “hard” to not clap for. He’s not even trying this time around.
