Breaking news: in an effort to own the libs, Trump fully sanctions explicit public corruption. Is there a word for something that is somehow this appalling yet unsurprising?

The funny part here is that by using IRS data to track immigrants, the Trump Administration is admitting that they do pay taxes. The reality is that the people this administration portrays as taking from Americans actually contributes more than they receive in terms of revenue and benefits.

There nothing logical about any ideology that on the one hand denies assistance to those in need while on the other going above and beyond to serve those willing to deny — implicitly or explicitly — said assistance.
Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.

I’ve never felt comfortable describing what we’ve seen nationally as “fascism.” While not inaccurate, it seemed hyperbolic and therefore unproductive. It felt too easy to dismiss.

That is, until now. When the executive weaponizes the judiciary against legislators, there’s no longer room for doubt.
Feds charge New Jersey congressmember with assault

Say what you will about Donald Trump — No one is more capable of defeating Donald Trump than Donald Trump.
Trump looked unbeatable on the economy. Then he launched a trade war.
After campaigning on lower prices, Donald Trump spent his first 100 days focused on tariffs that threaten to raise the cost of living.

It’s all projection at this point.
You don’t need to leak false information. If it is false, you are just making it up. So either it is a leak of truthful information or it is someone making something up.

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.

Mike Johnson deserves a nominee for actor of the year. His ability to convey worry as Trump stirs up fear is only outdone by the sense of calm he presents after Trump presents a “solution.” It’s been a captivating performance.
