The Spectator has been tolerated — and in many cases courted — for far too long.
For anyone who still reads The Spectator, the fact that on the other site Andrew Neil is saying that he doesn’t care whether its writers call for pogroms against Muslims (or, presumably Jews or torturing babies to death) as long as he doesn’t do it in his magazine might give them pause for thought.

He's now deleted it but the 'fake Telegraph headline' > 'Britain First deputy leader' > 'Elon Musk' chain is something that would have once been shocking.

(We can overstate that site's influence and Musk's importance but sometimes you've got to just accept people are what they say they are.)
