Many thanks, David, also for reposting. It's very much about the present, seeking to dwell in the "eternal present", I guess. 🙏😊

Welcome! Yes, on rare occasions I've been so absorbed in writing that I've neglected tedious, but necessary cleaning chores. 😁

Eminently relatable, incisive & insightful. Thankfully, all this is far, far behind me. 🙏🏆

Great analogy deftly dipped & wrung out. This one particularly resonates, as I've often mopped the floor as a way to procrastinate over writing tasks. Conversely, I've used writing as a way to procrastinate over cleaning the bathroom/kitchen/fridge etc. 😅

I love this closely observed meditation on the psychogeography of those unloved, but liminal spaces, vacant lots, especially where consecrated ground once stood. 🙏🏆

Love the brusque, choppy rhythm you set up in the first stanza & how the poem resolves into the languid, forlorn analogy of the lost child. 🙏🏆

Many thanks, Sue. It took some research, although the John Cage organ project is relatively close to where I currently live, so I'm familiar with it.
