I'm lucky enough to live within walking distance of a beach so every day is a staycation on days like today. We also do little weekend trips to London which I also count as a staycation.

Every year, we say, "Bloody hell, it's hot. Let's get an AC unit next year," and then forget about it because it's only actually two days a year that the temperature reaches 80 degrees. Those two days were last Thursday and Friday. Today, it is 68 degrees max in my city. 72 max next week.
