Thanks-clinical trials have not yet stopped at UC Davis Health but as a non-profit academic program, we have many trials at risk. If the NIH indirects are cut to 15% it is unlikely research across the USA can continue. We will not have buildings in which to work, water, electricity, or services.

NIH indirects pay for lease, taxes & insurance on the buildings in which Drs & scientists work,+electricity, water, repairs, etc. Without IDC we would not have a place to work.

Many diseases still need cures. Here’s a graphic of trials we are able to do thanks to IDC. I hope they can continue. 🙏
