At GSA, in the Biden administration, we were determined to build as much federal EV infrastructure as quickly as possible: buy vehicles, run greater power capacity to facilities, install chargers. Because a Republican administration wouldn’t undo all of *that*.

Yet here we are:
👀 Scoop: Trump and Republicans want USPS to sell off its brand new EVs and chargers.

That would mean literally **ripping up post office parking lots** to auction off assets with no private-sector value.

It’s buried in the Senate’s “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

SCOOP: Since SSA installed new anti-fraud checks on claims made over the phone, only 2 claims out of over 110,000 were found to likely be fraudulent, according to internal documents I obtained.

The policy has slowed down payments, though. Retirement claim processing is down 25%

Oh, no, we've seen this movie, after the SCOTUS gutted the Voting Rights Act in 2013's Shelby County v. Holder. Southern states said "hey, we don't need federal restrictions on elections law, it's 2013!" And then they added hundreds of restrictive voting laws. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/16/u...

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

I have long worked with people at a lot of nonpartisan good-government NGOs. Those people have never revealed to me any partisan leanings. But that's really shifted in the past few weeks. Belief that the US government should function now makes you a Democrat. Republicans believe only in destruction.

i honestly have never seen a political leader so thoroughly destroy their credibility so quickly and, on the other side, it is abundantly clear that if anyone can claim a genuine leadership of large parts of the democratic party, it is AOC.
Folks is it good when your own party's leadership in the House is dropping "listen to the women" and MLK quotes on you while swing state members of your caucus are talking about new leadership
